| Heidi F.Johnson Movement Education Teacher  Heidi F. Johnson was born in Connecticut and grew up in Chicago and New York City. She moved to Tucson in 1984 to attend the University of Arizona. In 1996, Heidi began teaching as an assistant in the Early Childhood program at the Tucson Waldorf School while her son attended the kindergarten. In 2000, Heidi started the Movement Education program in the grade school while beginning her studies in Spacial Dynamics. Heidi completed her five year in-service training program in Spacial Dynamics/Movement Education/Movement Therapy in August 2004, and received a Bothmer Gymnastics certification in July of 2010. Heidi has also completed a series of trainings in Bal-A-Vis-X and in DIR/Floortime treatment of Autism and sensory processing disorders. Heidi made the SENG Honor Roll in recognition for outstanding educational service to gifted children. Heidi greatly enjoys teaching the Movement Education program to our elementary and middle school students. Heidi is also a Zen Shiatsu therapist and continues her studies in Movement Therapy in the Spacial Dynamics Graduate Program. Some of Heidi's passions include Chinese Internal Martial Arts, Sabre fencing, Argentine tango, music, photography and a love of the outdoors and nature.
