Jennifer O'Brien
(Lead Kindergarten Teacher)
Jennifer O'Brien has studied Anthroposophy and the fundamentals of Waldorf Education since 1991. She was a founding parent of the school, and helped to establish Waldorf-inspired playgroups in Tucson. She was the kindergarten assistant during the first school year (1993). In 1997, she joined the Faculty as a lead Early Childhood teacher, teaching the three-day kindergarten class through the spring of 2002. Jennifer spent the 2002-2003 school year developing the Parent-Child program, and in the fall of 2003, she returned to the kindergarten as a full-time teacher. Jennifer, a former geologist, graduated from the Waldorf Kindergarten Associate Program at Rudolf Steiner College in 1999. She is married and is the mother of three wonderful children.
