Kate Walter

A practicing artist with a high regard for academic excellence, Kate has worked in Waldorf education for over 24 years. She and her husband Michael Wright raised their three children in rural southwest Wisconsin and helped establish Pleasant Ridge Waldorf School, where Kate organized the Development office and served as Director for ten years. An experienced class teacher committed to holisitic education, Kate has interest in handwork and practical arts, and she helped develop the garden program at the Toronto Waldorf School, where she taught for five years before moving to Tucson.
