Lisa Archer
(Grades 6 and 7)
Lisa Archer received her Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction in Psychology from Stanford University in 1986, and trained at the Bing Nursery School. She took coursework in illustration and graphic design at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, and worked as a preschool teacher for ten years in the Bay Area. She did web page design consulting for two years in Portland, Oregon, then returned to teaching, completing her Waldorf Teaching Credential through Rudolf Steiner College in 2000. She graduated Tucson Waldorf School's first Grade 8 class in 2007, which she followed with a sabbatical. Lisa enjoys the challenges and joys of teaching mixed-age children, and all that the children teach her.
