Sara Enayssi
(German Teacher)
Sara Enayssi (or Frau Enayssi, as the children like to call her) was born and raised in Berlin, Germany to Lebanese parents. Being that Berlin has many Waldorf schools, Waldorf education was familiar to her, while growing up. It was after she arrived to Tucson, however, that her love for Waldorf education really blossomed. The tradition of the class teacher moving through the grades with the students was a practice that Sara really enjoyed and knew personally while attending elementary school in Germany. Sara is inspired by all of the grades teachers’ talents and dedication; and loves the sense of community the school offers. Sara joined our staff in 2000; since then, she has completed an internship at the Berlin Rudolf Steiner School and has received both her B.A in History and German and her M.A. in German Studies from the University of Arizona.
