Sophie Richerd
(Grades Aftercare Director)
Sophie Richerd is French, and got a PhD in Population Genetics in Paris in 1993 before moving to Tucson. She joined the Tucson Waldorf School in 2002 as Aftercare Assistant when her son enrolled and did not want to stop playing after school. She has been the Grades Aftercare Director for 4 years. What she likes about her job is providing a safe and creative environment for the children, and studying Anthroposophy and Waldorf education.
